I just had the chance to see the 2011 Ford Shelby Mustang GT500 up close and personal at the 2010 Chicago Auto Show and let me tell you, it is quite an impressive update!  The 2010 GT500 was a substantial body and interior upgrade and the 2011 provides a reworked powertrain.  For more photos from the show, head on over to our gallery!

Celebrate good times, come on...please?

Well, we did it.  No, we did not save the US Auto industry, but we did make it to our 100th post.  It hasn’t been easy, and the paperwork we’ve been filling out recently hasn’t been fun, but hopefully something has come out of our efforts.  If I have changed even one person’s opinion about what the Domestic automakers are about, then it has all been worth it.  I really think people need to just think about their choices and not base their car buying decisions on something that is just not true.  The Domestics are fighting back with great products, arguably some of the best in their 100+ year history.  The road ahead will be tough for the foreseeable future, but if we all pull together, they will make it through and be stronger than ever before!

Hello and Happy New Year! I haven’t had a chance to post much lately, but now truth about domestics is back at it. With a New Year, we will be bringing a lot more truths about the domestic auto industry.

We are currently working on exciting videos and new content. We’re still working on fixing the layout of the website. And, lastly we added some advertisements to help pay for the website hosting.

A word about the advertisements: we are using Google to host the ads, which means that they will throw anything related to autos in there. This means that there will be advertisements relating to non-domestic auto companies. This is FINE, because we are NOT anti-import vehicles, we are simply trying to expose the truth about domestic vehicles.
