2010 Dodge Challenger R/T Classic Furious Fuchsia and Dodge Chal

I don’t really know what to say about these two.  I’m not a fan of the color.  I’m not really into retro all that much.  White interiors are a bitch to keep clean.  With only 400 slated for production though, I guess Dodge didn’t think it would be that hard to sell so few.  The cars you see above are in a color called Furious Fuchsia and is available on either an R/T or SRT8 Challenger.  For more details, head on over to Autoblog.

Dodge Journey SRT

If the picture above is to be believed, then it looks like Dodge is putting a sporty face on the Journey crossover.  The vehicle was spotted sporting some SRT-style wheels, quad-exhaust tips and was able to beat an SS Camaro off the line.  For more details, head on over to Autoblog.

2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 (Chrysler)

Many people out there are against vehicles like this.  The 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 is actually a pretty incredible vehicle.  It’s fast, handles well, has room for 5 plus their stuff, but still they question: why do you need a go fast SUV?  Well, Autoblog set out to answer that question (and several others) in their week long review of the vehicle.  Surprisingly, even when rated at 13 mpg city, 19 mpg highway, the staff was impressed with the vehicle.  I also happen to like the styling of the truck with the SRT wheels, body modifications and Brembo brakes, plus, who wouldn’t like a 420 hp engine in their car.  For the full review, head on over to Autoblog.

Chrysler Challenger SRT8

Chrysler has announced that it will continue to develop SRT versions of its volume models for at least the near term.  This news comes as a bright spot for Chrysler, as GM has recently announced it was shutting down it’s High Performance Vehicle Operations team.  Ford has also stated that it’s SVT performance group would continue making performance versions of it’s vehicles for the time being.  Head on over to Autoblog to hear more.

While not a huge fan of Chrysler vehicles myself (it’s a rivalry thing lol) I happen to find the SRT vehicles to be pretty incredible.  Big muscle, sporty styling and relatively low priced vehicles make up the SRT lineup.
