The National Corvette Museum (NCM) is considered to be the largest of its kind, devoted to a single model – the Corvette, and is located adjacent to General Motors’ Corvette assembly plant. NCM is planning on building a fully featured race complex, consisting of two road courses, a kart track, a ten-acre autocross course, a skid-pad training area, and a quarter-mile drag strip. The track will be built to FIA and SCCA specifications, meaning that official racing events will take place there.

The newly planned development would be situated across freeway I65 from the museum. Access to the park will be via a tunnel and bridges going over the freeway.

Read more about it at the Motorsports Park website.

To celebrate it’s 15th anniversary, the National Corvette Museum is selling 2,009 tickets at $150 a piece for the chance to win a 2010 Corvette Grand Sport.  This is no ordinary Grand Sport though, it features a unique paint job, badges and even the spoiler from a ZR1!  For more details and some pretty pictures, head on over to Autoblog.
