The most common car used by the fuzz is the Ford Crown Victoria.  They are everywhere on the roads today, however, that car is on a platform that is close to twice my age.  So law enforcement has been looking for a replacement for years and now it appears that the competition for their business is heating up.  The one car currently on the road is the Dodge Charger.  The up and coming contenders are the Chevrolet Caprice and the new Ford Police Interceptor.  Well the gang at Autoblog has put together a comparison chart to see how the 4 police prepped vehicles stack up against one another.  For more details, head on over to Autoblog.

This Dodge Charger is one seriously fast automobile!  How could it not be?  It has over 900 horsepower and the interior went on a serious diet to drop the curb weight to a still hefty 3,700 pounds.

This new Dodge Charger commercial has popped up on the internet and TV’s across the country.  Lets us know how you feel about the Charger being described by telling viewers what it isn’t.  Like a man bag.  Or “mandals.”

This could spell some good news for Dodge (finally!)  While the news is mostly speculation, there are several models that Alfa is reported to be interested in importing including the Viper, Challenger and Charger.  Hopefully the rumors are true and sales in Europe will help spur slow production plants on this side of the pond.  For the full story head on over to Autocar.
