2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe order guide found on the internet…what a shocker…

I don’t really know why automakers have embargoes restricting the flow of information on new vehicles until certain days and times. It never fails that the information ends up on the internet ahead of the scheduled event and it has sort of happened again. It appears that the 2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe ordering guide has wound up online. There are some interesting tidbits, such as the fact that the sunroof does not slide, it merely tilts open. For all of the details, head on over to GM Inside News.
Sales of the Cadillacs and Corvettes to resume in Europe!

General Motors has had a rough go at it these past few years. What with the need for government bailouts and then filing for bankruptcy, things haven’t been harder really. On top of that, GM’s distributor for Cadillacs and Corvettes in Europe went bust, meaning those cars haven’t been available in Europe for almost a year. Well it now appears that GM has corrected that issue, reportedly in talks with about 30 dealerships around Europe to bring over the entire Corvette lineup, as well as the Cadillac CTS (coupe, sedan and wagon,) Escalade, CTS-V and SRX. No word on pricing or availability yet, so stay tuned for more. Until then, head on over to Autoblog.

The CTS coupe has been one of the more hotly anticipated Cadillacs of recent memory, and the V-series is no exception. Check out more pics in our gallery here.

The Cadillac CTS has been a pretty big success, proving that the Americans can build a luxury car to compete with the foreign automakers. Well this year the CTS sedan will be joined by two more body styles; the Sportwagon and Coupe. Both the Coupe and Sportwagon variants have been shown, but at the Detroit Auto Show, GM is rolling out the big guns. They are showing the CTS-V version of the coupe.

One of my favorite concepts of the past few years, the Cadillac CTS Coupe is finally revealed! The car will appear sometime in early 2010 as a 2011 model and will be available with rear- or all-wheel drive, an automatic or manual transmission and also as a V-Series model. Cadillac CTS coupe in new commercial! Makes me want one that much more!
For those of you not keeping tabs, the Cadillac CTS coupe will go on sale next summer. The video above shows just how progressive the design still looks even after being taken from concept to production. Also in the video you will see the new 2010 Cadillac SRX crossover and the 2010 Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon. What an incredible looking lineup.

If you’re anything like me, you have been craving the CTS coupe since it first debuted as a concept at the Detroit Auto Show in January 2008. Now word has come down from retired-now-hired Bob Lutz that the coupe will be available in V series trim. That means the 556 hp 6.2 liter supercharged V8 found in the sedan version of the CTS will be available in the coupe!
For more details as well as a link to Lutz’s interesting interview, head on over to GM Fastlane.

2010 Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon
There has been speculation that two important new Cadillac models are on hold – or even cancelled. Cadillac’s product communications manager, David Caldwell, has indicated that this is not true. The 2010 CTS Sport Wagon is one of those models that is scheduled to come out this summer. Built on the same wheelbase as the sedan, the Sport Wagon is scheduled to arrive at dealerships in late May/early June.
The CTS Coupe is reportedly still on track as well, but most likely it won’t be launching until next year so that GM can launch the new 2010 SRX replacement, as it needs to be a hit vehicle for Cadillac. For more, head on over to Autoblog.
