Cadillac has decided to take a different route with its commercials and marketing scheme. The new tagline, “The Mark of Leadership,” will hopefully work out well for the brand as it struggles to gain marketshare. Check out the three new ads below!
This purse thief in China thought he was going to get away free and clear. That is until this Good Samaritan came to the rescue. Seems he saw the purse get nabbed and decided to chase the perp and actually cut him off, causing him to fly up onto the hood of the Caddy.
This just goes to show you kids, crime doesn’t pay. Stay in school and buy a Cadillac CTS!
Hennessey CTS-V700 hits the dyno for proof of 707 horsepower potential!
Check out this dyno run of the new Hennessey CTS-V700. All I can say is wow!
Cadillac gets serious about fighting the Germans; releases pics of the CTS-V Sport Wagon!
When Cadillac released the CTS-V a year ago, it blew away the competition from Audi, from BMW and from Mercedes-Benz. This January, GM decided a CTS-V Coupe would really get people excited about a performance Caddy. This week at the New York International Auto Show General Motors will be showing off the production-intent version of the CTS-V Sport Wagon! In my opinion, the CTS Sport Wagon is one of the best looking wagons on the market today. It also provides excellent handling and returns decent fuel economy. The V-series will just up the performance ante to the tune of 556 horsepower and 551 pound feet of torque. For all of the details, head on over to Autoblog.

The video above shows what 700 horsepower (the engine is rated at 707 but Hennessey says peak power is more like 735) will do to a CTS-V. The car is insanely quick, able to accelerate with enough force to set off the OnStar crash sensors and prompt a call from one of their spokespeople. Enjoy!
Cadillac XTS Concept has been given the green light for production!
The sharp looking Cadillac XTS Concept seen above has been given the go-ahead for production, appearing sometime in 2011 as a 2012 model. The Concept featured a hybrid powertrain that coupled an electric-motor-packed transmission to GM”s high-feature 3.6L V6 and it is expected that this powertrain will appear in the production car as well. 2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe order guide found on the internet…what a shocker…

I don’t really know why automakers have embargoes restricting the flow of information on new vehicles until certain days and times. It never fails that the information ends up on the internet ahead of the scheduled event and it has sort of happened again. It appears that the 2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe ordering guide has wound up online. There are some interesting tidbits, such as the fact that the sunroof does not slide, it merely tilts open. For all of the details, head on over to GM Inside News.
Cadillac to offer Recaro sport seats on V6 CTS sedan and coupe!

One of the things many enthusiasts have loved about the Cadillac CTS-V are the optional Recaro power-adjustable sport seats. They have thicker side bolsters, an adjustable seat cushion and look downright amazing. Well Cadillac has decided to offer these seats on the V6 powered CTS sedan and coupe (not the Sportwagon for some odd reason…) for the low, low, low price of $2,800! For more details, head on over to Autoblog.

2010 Cadillac Escalade ESV Platinum is one pricey ride!
The folks over at Left Lane News have recently had the opportunity to drive a 2010 Cadillac Escalade ESV Platinum and their reactions were mixed. Did they like the styling of the premium Platinum trim line? Very much so. Did they feel the interior materials were worth a $10,000 price increase over your everyday Escalade ESV? Not so much. They also made sure to point out that the 6,000+ pound, 7 passenger Caddy is not a Prius…and that it’s not very green. GREAT OBSERVATION! I guess if I want to test drive cars I should start making comments like that. “This car has 4 wheels and on those 4 wheels are mounted 4 tires…” For the rest of the article, head on over to leftlanenews.com.
