2010 GMC Terrain (GM)
The new 2010 GMC Terrain is getting ready for it’s official debut at the New York Auto Show, but information about the newest crossover from General Motors has already been handed out. The Terrain (sibling to the 2010 Chevrolet Equinox, with which the Terrain shares pretty much everything but the sheet metal and interior) will be on sale this summer and is expected to be able to hit 30 mpg on the highway! For more details, along with stills of the vehicle, and a 10 minute video of the Terrain out on the road, head on over to Autoblog.

2010 Chevrolet Equinox (GM)
You read that right folks. While it seems like the price of everything is going up these days, Chevrolet has some good news to report. The all-new 2010 Chevrolet Equinox will carry an MSRP of $23,185 (including $745 destination charge), making it around $1,800 less than the outgoing 2009 model.
As expected, that $23k grabs you the base front wheel drive model, featuring a 2.4 liter, gas direct-injection Ecotec four-cylinder that is expected to achieve 30 mpg on the highway, 21 in the city. The new vehicle also looks much more upscale than the current model, and should have improved fit, finish, quality and optional content over the 2009 Equinox.
