What do you think the delivery charge is for an air lifted 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS?
If you happened to see the Dickies 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup over the weekend, you will know that they paid tribute to our men and women in service in honor of Veterans Day. In a truly spectacular display, the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS pace car was delivered via helicopter, and driven by a NASA astronaut! How cool!!! For more details, head on over to Autoblog.
A 101 year old man has recently purchased a brand new 2010 Chevrolet Camaro. Virgil Coffman decided he just had to have a Transformers edition 2010 Camaro, and so he went to the dealer and bought one. I’m not sure people should be driving at the ripe old age of 101, but apparently the dealer went the distance and made sure Mr. Coffman was up to the task of driving an automatic, 400 horsepower muscle car. Thank you for your purchase Mr. Coffman, America thanks you too!

The legendary Yenko name has been purchased by General Marketing Capital Incorporated (GMCI) and they plan to use it on their first prototype at SEMA, dubbed the “Phase I.” The car will feature a supercharger good for 600 horsepower, unique stripes, wheels and body modifications, as well as some interior trim as well. For more on the car, as well as Phase II and III, head on over to Autoblog.

Canadian women like the 2010 Camaro as much as the boys do!

According to a recent report on Autos Canada, females are purchasing the new 2010 Chevrolet Camaro in numbers close to males, in some cases almost 50-50. That’s far better than the previous generation Camaro which was selling in more of a 80-20 ratio, guys to girls. It’s good to see that the new Camaro is bringing a new audience to the Chevy showroom, and hopefully that good news continues. For more, head on over to Autos Canada.

There are three issues that Camaro owners should probably get checked on their cars. One involves the spoiler, another the HVAC, and the third the V8 wiring harness. Oh, there is another issue they should have looked at, involving the headliner causing extreme static for drivers with mullets…just kidding! Owners are advised to have their cars looked at at their earliest convience, aka this is not a recall. For more details, head on over to Camaro5.

Hennessey has decided that the 2010 Camaro SS just didn’t have enough power. So, they dropped the LS9 in it from the Corvette ZR1 and made a few modifications along the way. The result? 645 horsepower at the rear wheels, and 653 lb-ft of torque. Only 24 will be built, so please let me know if there is someone out there who has money and is in need of a kidney.
The Trans Am is alive! Based on the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro, this after-market conversion kit is actually pretty nice. Check out the videos above and leave your opinions in the comments section!
