Ford GT continues to battle at the track thanks to Matech Competition GT1 team

When the Ford GT came out in the early 2000′s it was clear to everyone that Ford had built a road-going supercar that could take on the best from Ferrari and Porsche and win. While it was never intended for racing, Matech Competition (a Swiss racing team) is doing just that. They took the championship in FIA GT3 and plan to do the same now that they have moved up to the harder GT1 class. Look for them on the track this year, or check out the amazing video above for a brief clip of the car in action.
