Ford Racing has never been about waiting for someone to pass them up when it comes to new engine offerings.  To prove this point, they have announced two new engines, one for those with a more modest budget, and another for those who want more get-up-and-go.  The first engine is based off the 302 cubic inch V8 iron block with aluminum heads.  It pumps out a decent 340 horsepower for only $3,495.  The second engine steps it up a notch and produces 535 horsepower and 545 pound-feet of torque using a 10.5:1 compression ratio.  This kind of power will set you back a fairly steep $8,800 though.  For more details and the official press releases, head on over to Autoblog.
