Ford has turned to a newer form of motion capture technology to see how people interact with their vehicle. A real live human being, wearing about 50 sensors, is followed in and out and around a vehicle by a camera. The camera tracks those 50 points and uses the information to help Ford engineers determine a better location or way to put on a seatbelt, or a more intuitive way for occupants to enter or exit a vehicle.
