Has Toyota been covering up its quality issues to save its good name???

The LA Times has just detailed a number of cases where Toyota has tried to cover up quality issues on their vehicles; some of those issues have even resulted in casualties. Most of the article focuses on unintended acceleration cases where Toyota has denied fault, refused to give data to customers and their lawyers, and bought back vehicles only to sell them to other customers! Looks like Toyota is in for a much longer and harder road ahead as it tries to convince customers that it really didn’t just care about making a quick buck off the American people.
