A recently written article on The American Spectator has shown that maybe, just maybe, people are starting to see that the American companies are different. Sure, this article focuses on how they are different from each other, but still. It’s good to see that someone is finally recognizing the work that Alan Mulally, CEO of Ford Motor Company, has done over the past few years to keep Ford from having to request government assistance.
Being a Ford employee for almost the past two year, I can tell you that changes take place every day. Things are improving. In fact, they’re improving at a much faster rate than the rest of the industry. Toyota Camry hybrid gets 33 mpg in the city? Oh yea? The new 2010 Ford Fusion hybrid gets 41. The new Tundra can tow 10,600 lbs? The new Ford F-150 can tow 11,300. People just need to think like this writer and take another look at Ford.
